Glass Man Victor

In a previous post we gave you a look into the bengkel and showed you the team responsible for fabricating, designing and building our custom motorcycles…you have also seen quite a bit of the surfboard shaping bay…So I think its only fair that everybody out there in the bloggisphere gets a little insight into the glass and sanding section of our surfboard manufacturing process and one of the main men behind the masks…otherwise known as the 'Resin Pit' and Victor.

Deus and Slidetoberfest on FUEL TV

Last October we hosted a surf, art and music festival dubbed Slidetoberfest. Throughout the duration of the busy weekend we had some guests from Australia under our roof...one of said guests was camera man Tak Nakano from FUEL TV. He along with the others spent their time soaking up the enthusiasm here at the Temple and filming as they went along.

After it was all said and done, we said our goodbyes and they jetted off on their merry way...time passed and life continued here on the island, and then today we receive an unexpected electronic mail containing this little gem.

It sums up the Slidetober event fantastically and is now airing on FUEL TV. Enjoy!

Golden Year Variety

When you look at the wide variety of genres in motorcycle sport today, its easy to get lost in the crowds, overly colorful sponsorship logos and the ever enticing TV commercials. It hasn't always been like that though, in a time not too long ago things were a little more simple and a lot more focused on the daring characters and their various steeds.

The week long overland trip was the first time the bike had seen tarmac, or lack there of in this situation…and the journey was used as a very thorough test ride.
